Heart Beat Life Saving Skills
Eastbourne Community First Responders run Heart Beat courses for community groups of 10- 15 people at a time and place agreed. There is no charge for this service but donations are gratefully received
The training course lasts for about two hours and offers an enjoyable, hands-on experience which will teach resuscitation (CPR) and how to use an automatic external defibrillator (AED)
You will be shown how to check to see if a person is breathing and all the steps to follow until a First Responder or an ambulance crew arrives.
This course will give you the confidence to use a defibrillartor and carry out CPR should you be called upon to help in an emergency.
